Skate in Japan is a cinematic meditation on what it means to be free for a group of rebels in Japan.



Skate in Japan, the first feature film by Steffan Roe Griffiths, is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Designed for immersive theatrical viewing and presented in large-format aspect ratio.
Shot in Japan over 3 years; edited in London; scored in Atlanta.
Supported by the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation.
